Tally of COVID-19 patients in Nashik district rises to 12

Nashik, Apr 10 () With five more persons testingcoronavirus positive, the number of such patients in Nashikdistrict of Maharashtra has gone up to 12, officials said onFriday.

The test results of five persons, who are undergoingtreatment at the General Hospital, Malegaon, confirmed thatthey are infected. Four of them are from Malegaon, whileanother patient is from Chandwad in the district, theofficials said.

Their reports were received early on Friday, theyadded.

Nine of these patients are receiving treatment inMalegaon and two others at the District Civil Hospital inNashik. One COVID-19 patient has died in Malegaon.

Officials of the health department of the MalegaonMunicipal Corporation (MMC) are looking for those who had comein contact with these patients, district civil surgeon DrSuresh Jagdale said. CORNP NP
