Two Tamil Nadu alcoholics die after drinking methanol as liquor shops remain closed
Not responding to treatment two more persons lost their lives on Wednesday in Cuddalore district after they consumer methanol, as the liquor shops are closed due to COVID-19 lockdown, said police.

Five persons in Cuddalore district consumed methanol on Monday night and were hospitalised the next day as they turned critical.

Not responding to treatment one person died on Tuesday.

With two more persons dying on Wednesday the death toll has gone up to three.
