Television industry in India is no less than the film industry in terms of the craze for celebrities, the mass appeal and not to mention the money involved. A few days back, we told you about the longest running television shows in India. Given that some serials have been running since past 20 years, it is difficult to have a second season for television series.

Business Insider India tracked down five such television series that were fortunate enough to be granted a second season by their makers.
