The updated iPad Air has an edge-to-edge Liquid Retina display, making it look more similar to last year's iPad Pro. It also packs a significantly more powerful processing chip than the standard iPad, which starts at $329 for a 10.2-inch screen with 128GB storage, and the 7.9-inch iPad mini, which costs $399 for 256GB storage.
With prices starting at $599, the iPad Air is $200 cheaper than the 11-inch version of the iPad Pro. However, the iPad Pro boasts a larger Liquid Retina display, a faster processor, better cameras, and some other features that make it function more like a hybrid computer.
The 2020 iPad Air's screen will display in 2360 x 1440p resolution, and Apple claims that the new A14 bionic chip will make this year's iPad Air up to 10 times faster than last year' s model. Like previous iPads, the iPad Air will support Apple Pencil, Touch ID, and Apple's smart keyboard. Apple's iPadOS 14 introduces even more support for the Apple Pencil, allowing users to write into digital forms by hand and more.
