Business Insider is proud to announce that Carlos Watson will speak at the inaugural BI Global Trends Festival, a virtual event taking place the week of October 19-23, 2020.Watson is a former MSNBC anchor and the CEO of Ozy, a media company he founded with Samir Rao in 2013 for curious people who are interested in change and ideas. The company has raised a total of $70 million and expanded beyond the digital magazine it began as into live events, TV, and podcasts.

Before founding Ozy, Watson built college prep company Achieva College Prep Services and sold it to the Washington Post/Kaplan. He has also worked at Goldman Sachs and McKinsey & Company.
