One thing that's taken care of for Nokia in India is awareness of the brand. Even though people have stopped using Nokia phones for quite sometime now yet they are very well aware of the brand from the time when Nokia ruled the roost in the 90s. And now HMD Global today launched a new generation of Nokia smartphones in India. This is a whole new chapter for Nokia mobiles in India. The company announced Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 priced at Rs. 9499, Rs. 12,899 and Rs. 14,999 respectively.

We spoke with Pekka Rentala, CMO of HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones about the nostalgia around the brand, teaming up with Android, and Nokia's strategy for the second innings of the brand in a market that has grown at a breakneck speed.
