This is one area where Government of India needs to look into for is ‘Skill Development Initiative (SDI)’.

The problem has multiple dimensions and one dimension is the faculty in management colleges. At many places professors have no passion for the subject, their knowledge of the subject is questionable and outdated, and they teach students just by reciting what is written in the books without giving its practical implications and relevance in the Indian context. Even in the theory part, the knowledge given is shallow and any recent changes in the concepts are not shared.
