Junglee.com To Add Pre-owned Vehicles Category

Junglee.com will now add pre-owned cars and two-wheelers to the list of its products. It will offer 25,000 vehicles in 160 cities across the country.

“We will be helping users find the best and cheapest car and two-wheeler available starting Tuesday when we launch our 26th category," said Junglee's General Manager and Director Mahendra Nerurkar.

“Pre-owned vehicles is a large and fragmented category where Junglee is attempting to simplify the shopping experience for customers by organizing high quality vehicles listings across multiple sources in one place, and offering optional value-added services such as inspection and buying & selling guides,” he added.

Junglee.com has tied up with Mahindra First Choice for inspection of vehicles at affordable prices. Autoinspekt, a Mahindra First Choice-owned company, will inspect any vehicle demanded by customers on Junglee.com. “This will provide both buyers and sellers an easy and reliable way to understand the condition of the vehicle and its fair market value,” Junglee.com said in a press release.

"It is early days and you have to give time to online portals to grow. We have already seen how car buyers in the country have started switching cars every four or years. So these initiatives will certainly help in growth of the segment," said Abdul Majeed of Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
