Legendary Super-bike Suzuki Hayabusa to be assembled in India

It’s not the fastest production motorcycle anymore, but it’s still blindingly quick. If you’re anything close to a bike enthusiast, you’ll have a key chain, a toy model, or at least an HD wallpaper of this legendary super-bike - the Suzuki Hayabusa.Suzuki Motorcycles India has said they’ll assemble their flagship, the iconic Hayabusa in India. This will knock down its price to a marginally more affordable 13,57,135 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Hayabusa will now be brought into India as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kit, and locally assembled at the company’s Gurgaon plant.

The India-made Hayabusa will have the same specs as the CBU unit imported from Japan, that’s the same 1340cc monster of an engine that churns out a whopping 197PS of Power and 154Nm of peak torque.
