Lok Sabha Election 2019 Candidate List for Rajasthan

There are 25 seats in total for the parliament in the state of Rajasthan. The Election Commission has decided to conduct the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in the state in just two phases. The dates of elections in the state are April 29 and May 6. On these two days, the country will conduct its 4th and 5th phases of polling.

The Congress Party has nominated Vaibhav Gehlot, the son of the state’s chief minister to fight from the Jodhpur constituency. In fact, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot wanted to contest from his winning constituency of Jodhpur. Earlier the BJP had fielded G S Shekawat’s name from this constituency. Hence we see a direct contest between the two here. This region is dominated by the Bishnoi and Jat communities and Shekhawat won from Jodhpur during last elections for the Lok Sabha in 2014. Madhan Gopal Meghwal is the Congress candidate contesting from Bikaner constituency.
