The 2019 Lok Sabha Election dates were finally out on March 10, 2019. The country will vote to select the MPs for the Parliament who will represent its 543 constituencies. The seven phase polling across the country is scheduled on April 11, April 18, April 23, April 29, May 6, May 12 and May 19. After the polling is over, the votes across the country will be counted on a single day on May 23 and the results will be announced on the same day before the evening. In West Bengal, polling for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections will take place during all the 7 phases across the different constituencies of the state.

2014 Lok Sabha Election results in West Bengal
In total West Bengal has 42 constituencies. In 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, BJP won only from 2 constituencies of the state. All India Trinamool Congress got 34 seats leaving the Marxist Communist party with 2 seats and the Indian National Congress party with 4 seats.
