The number of girls who cleared the examination this year stood at 82.82%, compared to boys at 72.18%.
Last year, the pass percentage was registered as 91.97% while the pass percentage among boys was 87.27%.
In 2018, the pass percentage in the Maharashtra SSC examination stood at 89.41%. Over 16 lakh students appeared for the SSC(class 10th) examination, which was held between 1 March and 22 March 2019.
