Maruti Suzuki’s sales ended on a strong note in July

India’s largest manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) ended the month of July on a good note, with sales of its passenger vehicles registering a growth of 13.9%, selling 125778 units. This was the highest ever monthly sales for Maruti, which sells one of every two vehicles sold in India.

In June this year, the sales of MSIL’s passenger vehicles fell because of a disturbance in the production, after a fire incident at its vendor Subros.
