Marvel Launches Anthem in India to Market Endgame

Marvel Entertainment, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, is one of the world's most prominent character-based entertainment companies, built on a proven library of more than 8,000 characters featured in a variety of media over seventy-five years.

The brand is known for several big-ticket films such as Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man Series, Hulk, Thor and several others. The brand is all set to come out with its latest flick, Avengers Endgame in this month.

Marvel is leaving no stone unturned to promote the flick across the globe and in the last few years, India has emerged as one of the biggest markets for the company.

In the latest development, the brand has launched a Marvel Anthem for the film which was coined by A.R. Rahman, a popular lyricist and composer. The development is seen as the biggest marketing initiative by the Marvel Entertainment to connect with the audiences.


The video film showcases scenes from the previous Marvel movies and is a celebration of entire Marvel universe characters. It also showcases the scenes of the forthcoming endgame and the film acts like a trailer.

The anthem is liked by the people and was shared across the Internet.
Marvel Universe films are released in India simultaneously along with the US release. Over the years, the revenues accrued from these films in India have been on a rise and India has emerged as one of their biggest markets. For instance, Avengers Infinity Wars clocked over Rs 200 Crore in Indian market and was seen as the biggest Hollywood film till now. The box office collections have increased consistently.

The brand has seen numerous partnerships across the Indian subcontinent both in terms of merchandise and brand. Some of the popular brands that joined hands with Marvel Films include OnePlus, Thums Up, Oppo, Renault Kwid, Duracell, Titan, Max, Lifestyle, Crocs and HDFC.

Marvel utilizes its character franchises in entertainment, licensing and publishing.
