The Naxalites expressed their anger via pamphlets spread in south Bastar, Chattisgarh, in which they have appealed to celebrities and well-known personalities to think about by the oppressed tribals and support them by raising voice against their human rights violation at the hands of the armed forces.

The pamphlet also suggested that the actor and the shuttler should not have stood by the side of jawans that were deployed to guard corporate houses and political patrons.

Adding that the CRPF jawans did not die for the country, it said that they were rather punished by Peoples' Liberation Guerrilla Army for exploiting the local tribal population.

After the Sukma attacks, Kumar had given Rs 9 lakh each to the dependents of the 12 martyrs, while Saina too donated Rs 50,000 each to affected families.

Kumar has also launched the Indian government portal ‘Bharatkeveer.com’ for citizens to directly donate to the families of Army or paramilitary force martyrs.
