New Delhi to become the ‘Centre’ for Startups soon! With India taking a lead in the startup space across the globe, a conference to brainstorm innovative ideas for startups is slated to take place later this month in the national capital.

Titled Startup Capitals 2015, the conference invites prominent technopreneurs and investors from across the Asia Pacific region. Distinguished professionals will first meet in Delhi on October 27 and later in Bangalore on October 29.

The Singapore-based organiser, Startup Capitals, says that the conference is about thought-leadership brainstorming on the innovation hotspots and startup ecosystem of cities that are making a mark on the world map.

As per the media reports, the event will bring together stakeholders in a startup ecosystem, entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, researchers and educational specialists, government leaders and venture capitalists; precisely those who master innovation and are passionate about taking their innovation ecosystem to the next level.

The prime focus of both these conferences will be on local startup ecosystem and the opportunities and challenges they face, wherein speakers from overseas will bring in fresh and global perspectives.

Indian startups will share their experiences with the upcoming players.

The speakers for the event include Neal Cross – CIO of Singapore's DBS Bank; Mahesh Murthy – entrepreneur, marketer, founding partner of SeedFund; Shireen Bhan – anchor and author Young Turks; Osama Manzar – founder digital empowerment foundation; Ajay Batra – evangelist and founder Lutyen's Startups; and Puneet Pushkarna – president TiE Singapore.

Startup Capitals co-founder Vishwesh Iyer informed the media that such conferences will also be held in Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad in March next year.
