All new Maruti Suzuki DZire launched with prices starting Rs 5.45 lakh

Maruti Suzuki, India’s biggest carmaker has launched the all new DZire, priced between Rs 5.45 lakh and Rs 9.41 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new model would be competing with Hyundai XCent, Honda Amaze and Volkswagen Ameo.

This model, the third generation of Swift DZire, has been developed on Suzuki's HEARTECT platform, which is lighter but more rigid than the previous generation version.

As per MSIL, the diesel DZire delivers a fuel economy of 28.4 kmpl, thus being the most fuel efficient car in the Indian market. The petrol version, on the other hand, runs at an economy of 22 kmpl.

"The all new DZire has the looks and design of an authentic sedan. It is more premium and spacious in the inside, complained with future safety norms and has the convenience of Auto Gear Shift to make the all new DZire an irresistible package," said Kenichi Ayukawa, MD and CEO of Maruti Suzuki.
