While the initiative will be initially available to Ola’s drivers in Delhi NCR, it will soon be rolled out to the over 2 million drivers on the ride hailing platform.
“Hundreds of thousands of eligible driver-partners will be able to access in-patient care for serious illnesses at a country-wide network of 18,073 government and private hospitals empaneled under PM-JAY,” the company said.
The company launched several initiatives under its Ola Foundation. It plans to impart skills to 500,000 women by 2025. The foundation will also provide employment-linked skills training, financial literacy and social empowerment through life-skills education.
