PM Modi is one of the most influential persons on this planet! And we aren’t the only ones saying it!

This is one good news! Our beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi bagged the 13^th position in 'Bloomberg Markets Most Influential' annual list. Others who have been ranked above PM Modi include Chinese President XI Jinping, the US President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

"He won election in May 2014 by the widest margin in 30 years, giving him a shot at making some investment-friendly reforms that have faced stubborn resistance in the world's largest democracy. India might grow faster than China this year," the media giant wrote about PM Modi.

Interestingly, this comes at a time when the World Economic Forum (WEF) ranked India 55^th on the global index of the world”s most competitive economies. Experts have attributed this sudden rise of the country to the various initiatives taken by PM Modi, after he won the elections by massive votes in 2014.

Apart from PM Modi, the only Indian to feature in the list is Ruchir Sharma, the head of emerging markets and global macro at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
