Raigad is a Lok Sabha constituency in the state of Maharashtra. Within this seat, there are six assembly constituencies namely Dapoli, Guhagar, Pen, Alibag, Shrivardhan, and Mahad. There are no reserved seats in this set and hence they are all contestable by general candidates.

For the upcoming assembly elections 2019, INC is fielding Shraddha Mahesg Thakur from the Alibag seat. The Dapoli seat contestants include Shiv Sena’s Yogesh Kadam. For the Guhagar seat, Shiv Sena is fielding Bhaskar Jadhav. From the Pen seat, INC has nominated Nanda Rajendra Mhatre who will take on the BJP candidate Ravisheth Patil. The Shrivardhan Shiv Sena candidate is Vinod Ghosalkar. From the Mahad seat, INC is fielding Manik Motiram Jagtap.

The Vidhan Sabha election polls 2019 will happen in Maharashtra on October 21, 2019 and the votes will be counted on October 24, 2019.

Anant Geete of the SHS party who won Tatkare Sunil Dattatrey of NCP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections with a margin of 2,110 votes is the sitting MP of the Raigad constituency.

In the 2014 general elections for the assembly of Maharashtra, the NCP contestant Kadam Sanjay Vasant won over the runner up Dalvi Suryakant Shivram of SHS with a margin of 3784 votes and became the MLA for the Dapoli seat. From Guhagar, Jadhav Bhaskar Bhaurao of NCP secured 32764 votes more than the BJP candidate Dr. Natu Vinay Shridhar and won the seat. Pen constituency winner is Dhairyasheel Mohan Patil of the PWPI party who got 4120 votes more than Ravisheth Patil of INC. From the Alibag seat, the electors gave 16094 more votes to Subhash Alias Panditshet Patil of PWPI than the next contestant Dalvi Mahendra Hari of SHS and made him the MLA. The Shrivardhan seat winner was Avdhoot Anil Tatkare of NCP who got a small margin of 77 more votes than the SHS candidate Ravi Munde. From the Mahad seat, Gogawale Bharat Maruti of SHS became the MLA by scoring 21256 votes more than the INC candidate Manik Motiram Jagtap.
