Jalna Lok Sabha constituency comprises of six assembly constituencies including Paithan, Phulambri, Jalna, Badnapur, Bhokardan, and Sillod. Among them, the Badnapur assembly seat is reserved for SC contestants. The rest are general constituencies.

For the upcoming 2019 assembly elections, Kalyan Vaijnathrao Kale of the INC will field against the BJP candidate Haribhau Bagde. From the Jalna seat, Shiv Sena is fielding Arjun Khotkar against the INC candidate Gorantyal Kailas Kishanrao. Shiv Sena’s Abdul Sattar will field against the INC candidate Prabhakar manikrao Palodkar. BJP is fielding Santosh Raosaheb Patil Danve from the Bhokardan seat and Narayan Kuche from the Badnapur seat.

The assembly elections Maharshtra 2019 is scheduled on October 21, 2019. The votes will go for counting on October 24, 2019.

During the 2019 elections for the Parliament, Danve Raosaheb Dadarao of BJP won from the Jalna seat with a winning margin of 206,798 votes than the runner-up candidate Autade Vilas Keshavrao of INC.

During the 2014 assembly elections, Bhumre Sandipanrao Aasaram of SHS won from the Paithan seat by scoring 25039 votes more than NCP candidate Waghchaure Sanjay Yadavrao. From the Phulambri constituency, BJP’s candidate Bagde Haribhau Kisanrao secured 3611 votes more than the INC candidate Dr. Kalyan Vaijinathrao Kale and won this seat. The winner from the Jalna seat was Arjun Panditrao Khotkar of the SHS who overtook INC’s Gorantyal Kailas Kishanrao by just 296 votes. From the Badnapur (SC) seat, Kuche Narayan Tilakchand of the BJP won Chaudhari Roopkumar (Bablu) Nehrulal of NCP by 23495 votes. The winner from the Bhokardan seat was Danave Santosh Raosaheb of BJP who scored 6750 more votes than Chandrakant Pundlikrao Danave of the NCP. The winner from the Sillod seat was Abdul Sattar Abdul Nabi of the INC who scored 13921 votes more than Bankar Suresh Pandurang of the BJP.
