The EC also conducts many awareness programs to inform the voters on the different topics connected to the elections and the voting process. To find out your polling booth, you can visit electoralsearch.in website and fill in your details as found on your voter’s card or just enter the voter ID number. Alternatively, you can locate your polling booth by downloading the Voter Helpline App.

The earlier method you used to check your name on the electoral roll is also useful to locate your polling booth. (either call the helpline number 1950 or send an SMS to this number)

Documents you need to produce at the polling booth

If you are eligible to vote as per the criteria specified by the Election Commission and if you have already registered your name as a voter, the block level officer would have given you a photo voter slip to you in person at least before five days of the scheduled polling date. As per the mandate published by the EC, it is a must to carry this photo voter slip to the polling booth to gain entry for casting your vote.
