Puducherry elections results: These are the highlights from some key constituencies at noon

AINRC is leading in 5 constituencies

The party is fighting 16 constituencies.

SDA partners Congress and DMK are leading in 3 seats

In total, the parties are contesting 27 seats.

Congress has fielded candidates in 14 seats

AINRC’s S Ramesh garners major lead over rival

He is currently leading by nearly 9,000 votes – the biggest margin so far.

N Rangaswamy is locked in a battle with an independent candidate

Independent candidate Gollapalli Srinivas Ashok is currently leading by a thin margin.

He is backed by Congress

Gollapalli Srinivas Ashok, an independent contesting from Yanam is backed by Congress.

The SDA alliance led by DMK and Congress is leading in these constituencies Lawspet, Mahe and Oupulam.
