The six assembly constituencies located within the Chandrapur Lok Sabha seat include Rajura, Chandrapur, Ballarpur, Warora, Wani, and Arni. Chandrapur seat is reserved for SC candidates and Arni seat is earmarked for ST contestants.

For the upcoming 2019 elections for Vidhan Sabha, From the Rajora seat Subhash R Dhote of INC will take on Sanjay Dhote of BJP. From the Chandrapur seat, BJP is fielding Nana Shyamkule. BJP is fielding Vishwas Anandrao Zede against the Congress candidate Sudhir Mungantiwar from Ballarpur seat. Partibha Suresh Dhanorkar will fight for Congress from Warora. INC’s Vamanrao B Kasawar and BJP’s Sanjiv Reddy Bodkurwar will lock horns for the Wani seat. The contestants for the Arni seat are Shivajiro S Mogh of INC and Sandip Prabhakar Dhurve of BJP.

The Maharashtra assembly seats will go for polling on October 21, 2019 and the counting will happen on October 24, 2019.

In the Parliamentary elections 2019, Ahir Hansraj Gangaram, the BJP candidate secured 236,269 votes more than the runner up Deotale Sanjay Wamanrao who represented the INC.

The 2014 election results for these assembly constituencies are as follows. From the Rajura constituency, Sanjay Yadaorao Dhote of the BJP got 2278 votes more than Dhote Subhash Ramchandrrao of INC and became the MLA. From the Chandrapur (SC) seat, Shamkule Nanaji Sitaram of BJP won Kishor Gajananrao Jorgewar of SHS with a margin of 30772 votes. The winner from the Ballarpur seat was Mungantiwar Sudhir Sachhidanand who secured 43600 more votes than INC’s Mulchandani Ghanshyam Khushimal. From the Warora constituency, Suresh Alias Balubhau Narayan Dhanorkar of SHS got 2004 votes more than Sanjay Wamanrao Deotale of the BJP and became the MLA. The winner from the Wani seat was Bodkurwar Sanjivreddi Bapurao who got a margin of 5606 votes than the SHS candidate Nandekar Vishvas Ramchandra. From the Arni constituency, Raju Narayan Todsam of BJP got 20721 seats more than Moghe Shivajirao Shivramaji of the Congress Party and won the seat.
