President Donald Trump announced that his younger brother, Robert Trump, died Saturday evening.
"It is with a heavy heart that I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight," Trump said in a statement. "He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace."

Trump family biographer Gwenda Blair told the Associated Press that Robert Trump "was known as the nice Trump."
"Robert was the one people would try to get to intervene if there was a problem," she said. One ex-Trump Organization executive described Robert Trump to The Times as someone with "zero sense of entitlement."He was dignified, he was quiet, he listened, he was good to work with," Jack O'Donnell told the newspaper. "Robert was very comfortable being Donald Trump's brother and not being like him."
Robert Trump was also supportive of his older brother's presidential bid, though the brothers were estranged for years beforehand, according to The Times.
