The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is likely to release 10th class merit list and other result releated details for the year 2019 today. As per the reports, the result is likely to be announced at 11:30 am today. Going by the patter, the board will release the merit list of students today at 11:30 am and then results are expected to be announced tomorrow sometime during the day. Last year, 59.47% students had cleared the exam with Gurpeet Singh from Ludhiana grabbing the 1st rank with 98% marks.

How to check PSEB class 10 results @ pseb.ac.in

Step 1: Log on to the website pseb.ac.in. This is the official site where the results will be uploaded by the board.

Step 2: On the home page of the site, you will find the links namely PSEB class 10 results and PSEB class 12 results. Click on the link applicable in your case depending on your class.

Step 3: You have the input the details asked on the page like your roll number and others. Then click on ‘Submit’.

Step 4: You will see your results displayed on the screen. Take a print out of the result and save it for future reference.

As per the board’s norms, the minimum marks required for passing the exam is 35 in all the subjects.

Abbreviated as PSEB, The Punjab School Education Board was established in November 1969 through an enactment in the state legislature. The principal objective of this board is to oversee the development and spread of education in the state of Punjab. In the year 1987, the Vidhan Sabha made some amendments in the Act of the Board in order to grant autonomy to PSEB.

The official statistics say that around 8 lakh students appeared for the class 10 exams in 2019. The ratio was about 4.5 lakh students taking 10th class exams and about 3.5 lakh students writing 12th class exams.

In 2018, the overall pass percentage was 59.47. About 90.25 percentage of boys passed the exams while the pass percentage was 95.34 for girls.
