As expected there is no end in sight for Jio’s special offers ever since their very first and very controversial “ Welcome Offer”. With Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Jio revising the Dhan Dhana Dhan plan, it’s clear that Jio prime members can avail special offers from the newest entry in the telecom sector for some time to come. Jio Prime Members can avail unlimited services for 3 months with Rs. 399 Plan. The earlier launched Rs 309 plan for prime members will now provide 2 months of unlimited Jio services. The prepaid plans of Rs 309, Rs 349 and Rs 509 will have validity of 56 days. As part of the Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan first time recharge plans, the Rs 509 pack previously offered 2 GB daily data to users for 84 days and now the plan will offer 2 GB daily data to users up to 112 GB for 56 days. Similarly, the Rs 999 plan was earlier offering 120 GB data for 120 days and will now be providing users with 90 GB data for 90 days. Similar changes have been made to the existing postpaid plans as well where Rs 399 plan will be the only plan having a validity of 3 months whereas the other plans will be valid for 2 months. However, for both prepaid and postpaid users, the company has added two new plans of Rs 349 and Rs 399. The Rs 349 prepaid plan will give 10 + 10 GB data for 54 days and the postpaid one will give the same data for 2 months.

Competitor Airtel too launched ‘Project Next’ that includes a slew of initiatives targeted to make customer experience “simple, interactive and transparent” along with a lucrative ‘data roll over’ plan for its customers.
