Russia Warns Barring Overflights Between Europe And Asia

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has threatened Russia could block overflights between Europe and Asia as reaction against Western sanctions imposed against it.

Medvedev said closing the use of Russian airspace, which saves Western airlines huge fuel costs, was a "serious measure" under consideration in response to sanctions that have shut down Russia's first low-cost airline.
