The Hyundai Kona Electric is the first EV on this list that actually available in India. The South Korean company is currently the second largest automobile manufacturer in the county.
Launched this year, the electric SUV retails for ₹2.5 million (₹25.30 lakh). Its market penetration is fairly limited, with only 14 dealerships around the country.
In a bid to boost the use of EVs in India, Hyundai has also partnered with Indian Oil to set up fast charging stations in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru.

Kia Soul EV is another great electric car that isn’t available in India — and has no plans of launching until charging infrastructure is in place.

The Jaguar I-Pace is the first EV manufactured by the company but it costs a whopping $90,000. Being a luxury brand, Jaguar did beat Audi and Mercedes to the market by launching its EV ahead of the competition.
