Snapdeal Redefines Shopping, Launches Two New Experience Zones

To take customer shopping experiences to a new high, Snapdeal.com, one of the leading online marketplaces in the country, has now launched Experience Zones. These social and interactive Experience Zones have been designed to better cater to the shoppers’ needs.

The zone has been divided into three stores: the fabric store, the complete wedding store and the running store. While the fabric store helps a customer understand the latest fashion trends, the running store offers all the information on running essentials such as shoes along with tips from fitness expert Rahul Verghese, Founder of Running & Living Infotainment Pvt Ltd.
“The stores also offer the following features like how to pick the right product according to the customer, to tips on how to pursue running correctly, the diet to maintain, tips for training for a marathon among others. The third store in the series “The Wedding Store” was launched earlier this month which received very encouraging reviews from customers, will continue to host the best range of wedding clothing, accessories, gifting and home, under varied segments for both men and women,” added Maheshwari.
Currently, Snapdeal offers over four million products across segments from over 30,000 vendors with a strong network in 4,000 cities in the country. The company has a projection of reaching $1 billion GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) by 2015.
