Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) got a fresh lease of life in the IPL 2021 finals as their talented opener Shubman Gill was brought back to bat after being declared caught out in the tenth over of the match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

CSK’s Ambati Rayudu caught a skier from Gill off a ball from Ravindra Jadeja except that it was later found that the ball had hit the spidercam, the one that’s suspended high above the ground, held together by cables.

The ball was declared dead due to the intervention and Gill had to be brought back to the crease. Gill had scored 31 till that moment and went on to add another 9 runs in what was left of Jadeja’s over including two boundaries.
