The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League is finally set to begin from September 19. The players have been in the UAE, this year’s destination for the IPL, for weeks now, and the glamorous cricketing league is ready to start.

The IPL, which is normally held in April-May, was delayed this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. And the excitement has been building up. The cricket-crazy nation waits for the action and entertainment to unfold over the next one month. It kickstarts with a fight between the two teams who have won the most IPLs – Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

From fantasy leagues set up to chatter on Twitter about which team will win the title this time, it’s going to be all things cricket once again.

While a few big names would be missing this time, especially CSK’s Suresh Raina, who dropped out after landing in UAE for personal reasons, the IPL still boasts of being a star-studded game.
