The IPL 2023 will be played across 12 venues – Ahmedabad, Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Jaipur and Dharamshala.

During the league stage, teams will play seven home games and seven away games.

The IPL 2023 will have 18 double headers, scheduled during Saturdays and Sundays. The afternoon games will begin at 3:30 PM and the evening games will begin at 7:30 PM.

Playing XI to be announced after toss

The IPL 2023 brings in a new rule, allowing captains to announce their playing XI after the toss, depending upon whether they are batting first or bowling, reducing the impact of the toss on the outcome of the game.
