Rajat Patidar’s century is the fastest of all seven centuries in this season of IPL

Rajat Patidar — 49 balls

Total runs scored: 112 | Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) uncapped player Patidar slammed 112 runs in 49 balls against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the eliminator match on May 25.

Patidar broke multiple records

He is the first uncapped player to hit a century in the playoffs of the IPL. This is the third-highest score ever by an uncapped player. It is also the joint-fastest and highest runs scored in the playoffs.

Shockingly, he was not even in the squad and later on he joined RCB as replacement to batter Luvnith Sisodia.

He previously represented RCB in IPL 2021 and scored 71 runs in the four games he played in that season.

KL Rahul — 56 balls

Total runs scored: 103 | Wicketkeeper-batsman of LSG, Rahul scored a total 103 runs in 56 balls with a strike rate of 171.66 against Mumbai Indians on April 16. Known as one of the finest batters, Rahul, has maintained his tally with 616 runs in 15 matches.

Jos Buttler — 57 balls

Total runs scored: 116 | The swashbuckling wicketkeeper-batsman slammed 116 runs off 57 balls with a strike rate of 178.46 against Delhi Capitals on April 22. Buttler has performed exceptionally well this season with a total score of 718 runs in 15 matches.

Quinton De Kock — 59 balls

Total runs scored: 140 | Known as one of the most exciting wicketkeeper-batsman in the cricket world, Kock, with his explosive batting smashed 140 runs in 59 balls with a strike rate of 200 against Kolkata Knight Riders on May 18.

Jos Buttler — 59 balls

Total runs scored: 103 | The English batsman had earlier scored 103 runs in 59 balls against KKR with a strike rate of 168.85. He had hit 5 sixes and 9 fours in that match.

KL Rahul — 61 balls

Total runs scored: 103 | The LSG skipper on May 24 scored another century in 61 balls against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium with a strike rate of 166.12.
