Current skipper of the Indian team, ‘King Kohli’ has a record tally of the highest number of runs among Indian players with 777 runs from 16 matches with a strike rate of 133.04.

Rohit Sharma — 673 runs

Sharma, also known as the ‘Run Machine’ stands second with 673 runs from 28 matches with an average of 39.58.

Yuvraj Singh — 593 runs

The former Indian star who is famous for his aggressive and elegant stroke play, Singh has amassed 593 runs from 31 matches with a strike rate of 128.91.

MS Dhoni — 529 runs

Dhoni, under whose captaincy India won the inaugural T20 World Cup tournament in 2007, has scored 529 runs from 33 matches with an average of 35.26.
