Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma holds the record for three double centuries, two against Sri Lanka and one against Australia. Sharma also holds the record for the highest score in ODIs at 264 runs against Sri Lanka in 2014, helping India win by 153 runs.

New Zealand’s Martin Guptill scored a double century against West Indies in 2015, helping the team win by 143 runs. The opener went on to hit 237 runs not out in just 163 balls.

Virender Sehwag, well-known for his power hitting, scored a double century against West Indies in 2011, helping India win by 153 runs. He went on to score 219 runs not out in 149 balls.

West Indies batsman Chris Gayle hit a double century against Zimbabwe in 2015, packed with 10 fours and sixteen sixes. He scored 215 runs in 147 balls.

Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman scored a double century against Zimbabwe in 2018, helping the team win by 244 runs. Zaman scored 210 runs in 156 balls.

Ishan Kishan, one of India’s youngest players in the current line-up scored a quick double century against Bangladesh in 2022, helping the team win by 227 runs. Kishan scored 210 runs in 131 balls.

Shubman Gill, another youngster in the Indian team scored a double century against New Zealand in 2023, helping the team win by 12 runs. He went on to score 208 runs in 149 balls.
