Virat Kohli once again emerged as the top scorer in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and won the Orange Cap. He scored 741 runs, significantly ahead of Ruturaj Gaikwad who was at the second spot with 583 runs.

The Purple Cap was won by Harshal Patel, who claimed the top spot with 24 wickets, ahead of Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy who took 23 wickets.

Sunil Narine, who helped Kolkata Knight Riders win several matches this season, both with his bat and bowling won the MVP award. This is Narine’s third MVP award in IPL history.

In addition to the MVP award, Sunil Narine also won the Fantasy Player of the Season award for his contributions.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) Nitish Kumar Reddy won the Emerging player of the season award. He scored 303 runs at a strike rate of 142.92.

SRH’s Abhishek Sharma won the award for the most sixes in IPL 2024, after hitting 42 sixes. The second spot was occupied by Virat Kohli with 38 sixes.

SRH opener Travis Head won the most fours in the IPL 2024 award after hitting 64 fours, ahead of Virat Kohli who hit 62 boundaries.

Jake Fraser-McGurk who had a strike rate of 234.04 won the award for the electric striker of the season. Abhishek Sharma was second on the list with a strike rate of 204.21.

The catch of the season award was won by KKR’s Ramandeep Singh, who dismissed Lucknow Super Giants all-rounder Arshin Kulkarni.
