Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the second qualifier of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. RR has defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by 4 wickets to secure their spot in the second qualifier.

The second qualifier between SRH and RR is scheduled for Friday, May 24 at 7:30 PM.

The winner of the second qualifier will head on to the final of the IPL 2024 to play against Kolkata Knight Riders, which defeated SRH in the first qualifier to secure their spot.

The second qualifier is set at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. The two teams have not faced each other at this venue so far.

SRH and RR have faced each other 19 times so far in IPL history. Out of this, SRH has a slight edge with 10 wins and RR has won the remaining 9 matches.

SRH and RR have faced each other only once in IPL 2024 and the match ended in a close win for SRH as the team won by only 1 run.

SRH openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have been in explosive form so far but failed to perform in the first qualifier. The bowling department is led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan.

RR’s key players in the IPL 2024 include Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag, Yuzvendra Chahal and Avesh Khan. Their star batter Jos Butler will miss the match as he has returned for national duties ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup.

The final of the IPL 2024 is scheduled for Sunday, May 26 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, where either SRH or RR will take on KKR.
