Mitt Romney helps Stephen Colbert promote CBS's "Late Late Show."

Stephen Colbert is revving up fans for his "Late Show" debut with new teasers.

Colbert and CBS aimed to air the teasers with the biggest bang by premiering them during one of its most-watched series, "60 Minutes."

In the promos, a chipper colbert introduces the show's topic areas:

"I'll talk about the news, tell jokes, and have fascinating conversations with celebrities, athletes, musicians, and of course, politicians," said Colbert, along with a cameo from 2012 republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

In another teaser, he tries a card trick that in the end promises, "2% of you just freaked out."

And in a third one, he treats his September 8 launch date as the first day of school: "I've already got my book bag and my Charlie Rose trapper keeper," he jokes.
