Tata Steel

The company’s net profit grew 37 percent year-on-year to ₹9,835 crore in the March quarter. The company also approved a proposal to split its shares in a 10-to-1 ratio.

Hero MotoCorp

The two-wheeler maker reported poor earnings for March quarter as profit fell nearly 28 percent year-on-year to ₹627 crore while revenue was down about 15 percent to ₹7,421 crore.

Titan Company

The Tata Group company reported muted earnings with the net profit down by over 7 percent year-on-year to ₹491 crore in the March quarter, while revenue was slightly up at ₹7,276 crore.

Britannia

The FMCG major’s consolidated net profits grew to ₹377 crore from ₹360 crore in the same quarter last year. The company said it remained profitable due to an increase in prices, instead of volumes, like its peer HUL, as inflation remained a stress on the industry.

The power generation company’s net profit jumped eight times to ₹864 crore in the March quarter, year-on-year, while revenue was up by more than half to ₹2,441 crore.
