The family of late Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is next on the list with a portfolio of ₹44,202 crore as on September 30, 2023. The family’s top stock includes Titan, which was among Jhunjhunwala’s biggest wins – rising from ₹3 in during 2002-2003 when he purchased it to ₹3,149 on September 30.

Hemendra Kothari, the veteran banker who chairs DSP Investment Managers is a distant third with a portfolio of ₹8,698 crore as on September 30, 2023. His top stock is Alkyl Amines Chemicals.

Nemish Shah, the co-founder of ENAM, with a portfolio size of ₹3,128 crore is seventh on the list of India’s biggest investors. Shah’s top stock is Lakshmi Machine Works.
