Consulting firms hire recent college graduates.

Business school isn't a prerequisite for earning a six-figure salary in consulting.

While MBA grads are earning more than $200,000 at consulting firms like McKinsey and Bain & Company, candidates with bachelor's degrees can also earn high salaries.

According to the latest salaries report by Management Consulted, a recent college graduate can make up to a $92,000 base salary in consulting - and that's not including the signing and performance bonuses that would bump the entry-level pay up to more than $100,000.

For years, consulting firms have chosen youth over experience - they sought out recent graduates and lured them in with hefty salaries. Funneling in recent graduates has become a core hiring strategy at many top firms because it's cheaper for companies to train entry-level professionals than to hire people with experience in senior roles.

And you don't need a business or math degree to land a job at a top firm. Candidates with psychology and political science backgrounds are highly sought after because theoretical and analytical thinking are desirable traits in consulting jobs.

Business Insider compiled a ranking of the highest-paying firms for people who recently graduated with a bachelor's or a master's degree. This data is pulled from Management Consulted's users who received job offers. The company declined to give the exact number of salaries used to compile the data.

The potential total compensation includes the base salary, signing bonus, performance bonus, and compensation for relocation. Here is Management Consulted's salary breakdowns.
