Veteran BJP leader and former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj passed away on Tuesday night in New Delhi, following a cardiac arrest. Sushma Swaraj was truly a people's politician who assured to help people even "if they were stuck on Mars".

She left behind a great legacy of using Twitter as a helpline. In fact, the current external affairs minister S Jaishankar has adopted Swaraj-style Twitter helpline.

In fact, her last words to the world were in the form of a Tweet, which was ironically prophetic.

Hours before she passed away, Swaraj had tweeted congratulations to the Prime Minister for the decision to scrap Article 370 on Kashmir.

“I was waiting to see this day in my lifetime,” she said.
