Tata Jaguar Land Rover Planning To Open Factory In US

Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is working on a plan to set up a factory in the United States. The US is the second-largest automobile market in the world.

According to some media reports, the luxury carmaker is in talks with many US states, including South Carolina, about setting up a factory there.

JLR is also going to establish a factory in China tomorrow (Tuesday). Moreover, it will launch its i54 engine plant in Wolverhampton in UK later this month. It has also signed a deal to open a new factory in Brazil.

The luxury carmaker is also looking at the possibility of setting up a factory in Mexico.
