The Google Play store has over 2.5 million apps and some of the most popular new apps are all TikTok alternatives. With TikTok being banned in India, several local alternatives have emerged to capitalize on the opportunity.

According to data available on the Google Play store, eight out of the top ten apps are video apps – seven of them are TikTok alternatives. Here’s what each app does and where you can download them.
