In terms of battery life, the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chip is equipped to support up to 25 hours on a single charge.

The Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 is capable of offering 5G speeds up to 10 Gbps, and it also supports Wi-Fi 6E with speeds up to 3 Gbps.

For video calls and meetings, the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 up to 4K HDR video and up to 24 megapixels.

Adding to the video is support for Hi-Fi audio and AI accelerated echo-cancellation and noise suppression for clear audio during calls.

It also uses AI to adjust the focus, white balance and exposure of your laptop’s camera when you’re on a Microsoft Teams or Zoom call.

This laptop chip uses Windows Hello login and its Computer Vision processor to lock your laptop when you’re away from it.

Qualcomm hasn’t yet revealed the devices that will use the new Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chip but we will start seeing names by the first half of 2022.
