How to add donation stickers to your TikTok videos and direct viewers to charities of your choice

You can add donation stickers on TikTok to direct your viewers to a charity of your choice.
To add a donation sticker to your TikTok video, open the Stickers menu and select the "Support Nonprofit" option.
TikTok will give you a list of charities — select one, and your viewers will be directed to their website to donate.

TikTok is one of, if not the most popular app for Gen Z, the generation of children born from around 1995 to 2015.

Coincidentally, that generation is also becoming known for their social and political activism — so TikTok adding the ability to send donations with just a few taps makes perfect sense.

TikTok's donation stickers are incredibly simple — just pick the charity you want to direct donations to, place the sticker on your video, and viewers can then donate money through it.

Here's how to add TikTok's donation sticker to one of your videos — and how it works when someone taps on it.

How to use the donation sticker on TikTok

1. Record your TikTok video as you normally would, then go to the next screen for editing.

2. At the bottom of the editing screen, tap the "Stickers" button.

3. Look for and tap the sticker that says "Support Nonprofit." If you don't see it when scrolling through the most frequently used stickers, you can use the search bar at the top to find it.

4. Scroll through the list of organizations and tap the one you want people to donate to.

5. Adjust the size and position of the sticker like you would with any other, then tap "Next" to move on to posting.

When people watch your video and tap the donate button, they'll be taken to a screen that asks them how much they want to donate, their email, whether they want to donate anonymously, and whether they'd like to allow the charity to contact them.
