How to send money with Zelle
Keep in mind that in order to send and receive money with the Zelle app, both the sender and the recipient must create Zelle accounts. As the sender, you'll need to give Zelle access to your mobile device's stored contacts. If the recipient you choose doesn't have a Zelle account yet, you will be prompted to invite them to make one. For the purposes of this guide, we'll assume that both you and the recipient have Zelle accounts.
1. Open the Zelle app on your phone or other mobile device and sign in.

2. Tap "Send."
3. Scroll through your contacts until you find the person you wish to send money to. Alternatively, you can search the person's name in the search bar. Once you've found the contact you wish to send money to, tap on their name.
4. Tap "Yes" to confirm that you've selected the correct contact.
5. Type the amount of money you wish to send. Tap "Review" when you are finished.
6. If you wish, you can type a reason for sending the money to this particular person. Once you're ready to make the payment, tap "Send."

Make sure that you confirm all of the details beforehand – once you've sent a payment over Zelle, you can only cancel it if the recipient hasn't yet set up their Zelle account, so be careful and only send money to those you know and trust.
