You can use Kodi on a Roku by screen mirroring from another device to your Roku.
There's no official Kodi app for Roku, but you can get the Kodi app on other devices, like Android phones.
Kodi can play media you have saved on your device - it doesn't contain any content on its own.

Kodi is an open-source media center that lets you play movies, TV shows, music, and video games on all sorts of devices. It doesn't give you any content by itself - you have to add your own media in order to watch or listen using Kodi.
Quick tip: There are dozens of add-ons out there that let you modify Kodi. But not all of these add-ons are supported by the official Kodi development team, so it's best to be cautious about the add-ons you choose to install.
While you can't install Kodi on a Roku device, you can still access your Kodi content on Roku by screen mirroring from another device to a Roku player - here's how.

How to mirror Kodi to Roku from an Android device
If your Android is running version 4.2 or later, it likely has the ability to screen mirror, though the feature goes by different names depending on your device.
For example, on Google Pixel devices, the screen mirror feature is called "Cast" and on Samsung Galaxy devices, it's called "Smart View." On other devices, the feature may be called QuickConnect, SmartShare, AllShare Cast, Wireless display, Display mirroring, HTC Connect, or Screen casting.
On a Samsung Galaxy S21, open the Notification Panel and tap Media. Then, select SmartView and choose your Roku from the list of nearby devices.
On a Google Pixel, open the Settings app and select Connected Devices. Then, select Connection Preferences, tap Cast, and choose your Roku from the list of nearby devices.
Once your Android screen is casting onto your Roku, open the Kodi app and play your content.
The iOS version of Kodi requires a jailbroken device, so it may not be suitable for most users.
Linux and Raspberry Pi users may wish to directly connect their devices to the TV using an HDMI cable instead of mirroring the screen to a Roku because these versions of Kodi don't have an out-of-the box feature to quickly enable screen mirroring.
