Here’s how to take a full page screenshot on your iPhone

If you are a smartphone user, taking a screenshot comes in handy when you want to share something on your phone with your friends or wish to save it for yourself. It’s quite easy to take a screenshot on an iPhone. All you need to do is press the volume up button and the side button together.

Sometimes, you may want to take a screenshot of a chat or other content that may not fit in one screen. For such occasions, you can use full-page screenshot to take longer screenshots. If you are an iPhone user, this is an in-built feature on your device, and you do not have to install any apps.

How to take full page screenshots on your iPhone

  • To begin, go to the website or conversation you wish to capture.
  • Take a screenshot by holding down the volume up button and the side button. If you are using an iPhone 8 or below, you need to press the home button and the power button together to take a screenshot.
  • Now, tap the image preview at the bottom left corner of your device.
  • Now, at the top right corner, tap on ‘Full Page’.
  • You can now tap the crop button in the top menu to select the content that you wish to capture.
  • You now have the option to directly share the screenshot with others or save it as a PDF.
  • If you want to share the screenshot, tap the share button at the top right corner and select the contact.
  • If you want to save the screenshot, tap on ‘Done’ at the top left corner and click on ‘Save PDF to files’.
  • Now select the location where you want to save the file and tap on ‘Save’.
